Winsome Resources Managing Director Chris Evans has recently returned from a four-week trip to North America including visits to Quebec, New York, and Las Vegas.
In Quebec, Evans visited the Company’s three key project sites and interviewed potential staff for key roles as the company looks to expand and commence an intensive exploration program post IPO.
Other highlights included travelling to Val-D’Or, the centre of mining in Quebec, to view existing mining operations in the province. Mr Evans also toured the materials testing laboratory at the McGill University, checking out their equipment used for lithium metallurgical test work.
Mr Evans also spend time in New York, meeting potential investors and building the Company’s profile in North America.
Next stop was Las Vegas, where Evans presented the Winsome Resources story at the Fastmarkets Lithium Supply & Markets 2021 conference.
The three-day conference is lithium’s biggest annual networking event, bringing together key lithium producers and users from around the world – providing an in-depth understanding of the flourishing North American lithium market.
At the conference, Mr Evans met with a variety of potential investors and industry players; noting a very positive sentiment towards lithium, particularly for projects in Quebec and a lot of opportunities for further development of the Winsome portfolio.
Now back in Perth and wrapping up two weeks in hotel quarantine, Mr Evans has been busy progressing the IPO timeline.
